WHAT IS A STEP AND REPEAT BACKGROUND?
You see it all the time when a celebrity walks down the red carpet. They “step” strike their pose “and repeat” down the long red carpet, but a step and repeat is not only reserved for Hollywood celebrities, They can be used for any type event, making your guests feel like celebrities!
A step and repeat background is a term used in the event industry to describe a design type of background. For special events, a step and repeat background can be used to brand the event or hosting organization, provide marketing exposure for sponsors, and serve as a fun “official” looking background.
Typically, a social event will have a few major sponsors. In order to acknowledge the sponsors, logos of the companies are placed in a staggered design and repeated the width of the background.

HOW DO I GET A STEP AND REPEAT MADE FOR MY EVENT?
You’ll need to determine the size you need. A standard step and repeat background is 8’x8′ or 10’x8′. We recommend a 10’x8′ because visually a horizontal photo is more appealing, and it makes the background larger.
When creating a step and repeat background, the logos will be large. So make sure the logos you provide are high-resolution vector-based images, preferably with a transparent background.
Since the background is custom-made, you can either design the background yourself or we can do it for you. Our in-house designer will prepare a sample for your approval.
Once you have approved the design we go to print. The typical turnaround is 3 days, but we also offer express 1 day turnaround service if submitted by 10:00 am. When time allows we use standard ground shipping for delivery, but if you are in a rush, we can offer door-to-door service for Los Angeles or Orange County.
